Kids & Teens Corduroy Bean Bag Chair

Ha ha! I got this for my grandkids because I tend to take up the spot one of them usually sits on the sofa when I'm visiting. I thought it would be nice for them to have something comfy that found easily ve moved out of the way when they don't need it. My son poked and mashed and worked on it awhile and it "fluffed up" fairly quickly, but looked even better after sitting overnight. It's very soft, and kids say it's comfortable. Only had one tussle over who's turn it was to sit in it, but when they walked away from it the dog took over. I am not sure what adult could possibly be comfortable adults though, thus the one star I took. It is also not a typical beanbag, which to me has always been the styrofoam beads. This is chunks of firm memory foam and is loads better than a bean bag chair. It's great for kids, definitely not for adults.

I've been using the chair in my living room, and it's become my go-to spot for reading, watching TV, and taking naps. The gray color is neutral and blends in nicely with my existing decor.
The armrests are a great feature, allowing me to relax and lounge comfortably. The non-slip base is also a thoughtful touch, keeping the chair stable and secure on my hardwood floor. It’s a great addition to the living room, but I find myself moving it around because it fits just as well in the bedroom or lounge area.

The chair arrived compactly vacuum sealed in double layers. I was a little nervous cutting the packaging open that I would accidentally cut the chair, but thankfully that didn’t happen. It definitely takes time and effort to expand it to its full size and to get the memory foam pieces separated from one another, but my 8 year old took on the task easily enough. The chair is now in his room under his loft bed as part of a reading nook. While an adult does fit in the chair, it is definitely more comfortable for a child to lounge in it. Side pockets are great for books to be stored.

I've been using this as a lounge chair and for watching movies and I really like it. It's kind of a different experience beingnso close to the floor. When you get it you have to take it out of a vacuum sealed bag and wait for it to expand which does take about a day. You also need to periodically shake it and break up the foam that is stuck together inside of it. So there is a bit of work involved in getting it ready to use, but it is worthwhile. It has much more support and keeps it's shape much better if you follow their instructions. The chair also seems pretty well made. I'm 5'11" and I can sit comfortably in it and I think it would be a good fit for anyone smaller than me and perhaps some people slighty bigger than me. I'm pretty happy with it and really enjoy using it.

This chair came packed tightly into a cube. It does need a couple of hours to fully expand to its designed form. Once expanded, it is very comfortable to sit on.
